One of the things I am going back to this season is having kids check in and check out with a coach every day. During COVID, I stopped this daily practice, as we had limits on what we could do, and then I just stopped it altogether. We use Strava as a team, but not everyone participates, and it's just not the same type of interaction that I was looking for.
So, I wanted to bring back the old-school team training log.
This simple habit will provide two, positive individual interactions every single day. In a typical season, I have about 50 kids on my roster and I know I don't interact with everyone on an individual level twice daily. This log is going to help me accomplish this.
Additionally, I'll have an archive of workouts that I can analyze after the season.
